Resizing Chrome while visiting the GitHub PR review site causes my system to freeze and become unresponsive for 15+ seconds.

Which OS you are using and what are you ram specifications?
secondly Chrome is a heavy tool which takes a lot of RAM in general for me it takes up to 18 GB sometimes, try switching to other light weight browser example Zen-Browser, Arc Browser, Vivaldi etc

No, it's not a machine issue. Thank you, though. Switching to the beta version of the review page makes things better.

Having the same issue here.
OS Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Processor Intel Core Ultra 7 165U x 14
Memory 32GiB

It's overall slow, hard to open/close comments, to load the page, to change between commits, etc. It feels like the UI is slow. Most of the data loads fast, but any interaction make it to freeze for 1~2 seconds

Having same issue, it ranges from 1.3GB to 2.5GB on code changes tab.

Processor i7-12gen
16GB memory
It takes around a minute to respond to my clicks, not exaggerating, could be lower, so random.

Me too. I can't barely comment to a PR, not really large, just like ~500 lines changed.

Same Issue for me. On Safari works much better.

I experienced ~30,000 ms input delay on a small change of ~500loc. ANY click or keypress on the page generated this delay. This meant the page was completely unusable (I was trying to write a review).

I have quite a powerful computer. The issue is present on latest chrome with no extensions running.
