In the video notice the bottom right
On the Sponsors signup form, the data-testid="address1" and data-testid="address2" fields are implemented as React Aria comboboxes.
Manual typing or pasting is immediately cleared by the component’s onChange handler.
This happens across browsers (Edge, Safari, Firefox, incognito).
Even when DOM value is overridden via console, the React state remains empty, so submission payload contains no address.
This blocks signup entirely.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to https://github.com/sponsors/accounts and start signup.
At the address step, type into “Address Field 1” or “Address Field 2”.
Observe the value being cleared after each keystroke
Submit — address fields are empty in payload.
Environment:
OS: Mac OS 26.0.1
Browsers tested: Edge, Safari, Firefox (latest)
Date/time tested: 2025/11/07 3:00
