It is a good practice for learner to know about the arguments of a method.
cv2.imread( 'file_name' , flag)

cv2.IMREAD_COLOR(1) is the default flag. 🙂

Yeah.
But if you want to read the image as Gray or whatever then you have to specify.
Okay You know about this. But remember when someone is beginner then he is confused with how to read it as Gray or Color or Alpha Channels.
