I will delay merging this. We have been releasing everything 3.11 - 3.13. We will then release a minor bump that is 3.12-3.14. This means that there are versions of the code that run in 3.11 - 3.14, but 3.11 is no longer being maintained.

TL;DR: make the 1.0.0 release at 3.11-3.13, then merge this and then make a 1.1.0 release.
