Hi there 👋

I am a solo entrepreneur in the software industry, based in Germany. I am also an author and contributor of open source projects, and a committer at the Apache Software Foundation.

Previously, I joined Confluent in 2015 as their first product manager, and helped build and grow their products and culture over six years, from eight employees all the way to 2,400 and IPO on Nasdaq. Confluent was founded by the original creators of Apache Kafka, a data streaming platform widely used by organisations like Cloudflare, Apple, LinkedIn, CERN, Walmart, PayPal, and Netflix to process trillions of data messages per day. So I have a bit of experience and passion for developing and running large-scale distributed systems.
