This relates to #64. @davidje13, @brev, @cspotcode, @arcanis, we would appreciate your attendance or notes on #89 if possible. In particular, now that nodejs/node#43363 has landed and changed our resolve hook to be synchronous, does this proposed async preImport hook satisfy the use cases that having resolve be async previously covered?
