I found this message:
"Your account's billing is currently locked because recent account charges have failed. Please check the 'Billing & plans' section in your settings."

However, I don’t have any outstanding charges. I used a free trial of Copilot over a year ago, and when the trial ended, an attempt was made to charge me. Since the payment didn’t go through, the service was simply suspended. I’m not in debt or owing any payment.

I’d like to know how I can resolve this issue and unlock my account.

Yes, I saw that discussion and I tried to contact GitHub support regarding billing, but I found out that only users with active paid plans can open support tickets. For those of us without an active plan, we are referred to post the issue in the community.

That’s why I’m here, hoping someone can look into this and help me, or suggest any alternative way to contact support even without an active plan.

Confirm there are no unpaid invoices listed under Billing history.

If you see any "Failed" or "Pending" charges, try canceling the subscription or removing any outdated payment methods.
