This commit addresses the most prominent deficiency identified in bpo-46581 (namely their absence from _GenericAlias.copy_with), but there could be others. Question: Does this fight with #31143? Is this going to inadvertently revert that approach? If so, is that okay? |

#31143 will not be backported. Also, it only reverts a part of changes. |
